First a little flavor:
I’m on the run / no time to sleep / I’ve got to ride / ride the wind / to be free again.
In reality I’m on a long ass flight from Sarajevo to Denver and the French kid sitting next to me is annoying as fuck. I’m heading back for a few weeks in the USA and it’s actually kind of shitty timing because watching RIZIN cards in Europe is way better than Mountain Time: just an early wake up and not a gnarly all-nighter.
Super RIZIN 2 definitely has a lot to stay awake for though with four belts on the line and several other exciting fights. The night begins (July 29th, 11PM ET) with the Bellator portion of the card and 5 fights in a cage headlined by the big LW quarterfinal grand prix bout between AJ McKee and Patricky Pitbull and Roberto Satoshi Souza. The co-main is one of the two another authentically RIZIN vs Bellator fight and is the very interesting match up between Kyoji Horiguchi and Makoto Shinryu. This could be a real passing of the torch moment like when Seika Izawa (who appears at the top of the card) shockingly ran through Ayaka Hamasaki, or it could be a comfortable veteran win for Horiguchi. We'll have to see.
