Ah yes, there I was in Saitama Super Arena on a New Year’s Eve not so long ago and here I am now, faraway, on another continent. Alas. I will hold that memory in my heart while I watch on my computer screen. But even such great distances and stuttering resolution cannot douse my fire for the pinnacle spectacular of JMMA.
Let us journey then in our mind’s eye to that sacred space, Saitama, where tradition dances with innovation, where honor intertwines with ambition. Bows and blessings abound. It is a journey fueled by sweat, grit, and the JR Ueno-Tokyo line. The canvas awaits, the lights shimmer like distant stars casting a pale glow upon each effervescent warriors.
